IOTA NanoSolutions Ltd appoints CSO

The Board of IOTA NanoSolutions Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Steve Rannard as a non-executive director and Chief Scientific Officer of the company. In September, Steve joined the University of Liverpool as a full-time Professor of Chemistry and was the recipient of an IOTA NanoSolutions Senior Industry Fellowship.
Prior to this, Steve was the Discovery Platform Director for Molecular and Nano Technologies for the Home and Personal Care Division of Unilever plc, based in Port Sunlight, UK. He was previously the Science Area Leader for Functional Ingredients and the Unit Leader for the Molecular Science Unit at Port Sunlight and is a cofounder of IOTA NanoSolutions. Before his career in Unilever, Steve held Project Leader roles in Courtaulds Strategic and Corporate Research & Technology in Coventry, and the Cookson Technology Centre in Oxford. Steve is also the recipient of a Royal Society Industry Fellowship.
